Crafting Connections and Creativity in Advertising
John Patrick Galloway Jr.
John “Pat” Galloway Jr., a New Orleans native, has spent more than four decades building a career in radio, media, advertising, and sales leadership. He began as a Radio Account Executive at WSMB, quickly finding his strength in sales and relationship building before moving into leadership roles with some of the region’s most recognized radio stations and media companies. His career has included positions with WRNO, Sinclair Broadcasting, Entercom, and Cumulus Media, where he has built successful teams, grown revenue, and developed lasting relationships throughout New Orleans and the Gulf South.
Leading Growth
Growth has been a constant throughout Pat’s career. As Station Manager and Equity Partner at WRNO, “The Rock of New Orleans,” he helped increase station billing by more than 500% in two years while more than doubling the station’s value. Later, as VP of Sales at Entercom, Pat oversaw five stations and their digital assets, helping the market earn five “Market of the Year” performance awards while leading the company in market sales growth.
Radio & Media
Pat’s experience spans nearly every side of the radio business, from account sales and station management to digital media and regional operations. At Cumulus Media, he served as Regional Vice President and Market Manager overseeing New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Lafayette, and Columbus-Starkville, managing 18 radio stations and their digital assets. Under his leadership, his markets consistently ranked among the company’s top performers for revenue and growth.
Events & Experiences
Pat has also built a reputation for creating events that connect advertisers with local audiences in memorable ways. He has developed and produced the Boomers and Beyond Expo, Women’s Expo, Kids and Family Expo, Battle of the High School Bands, and numerous concerts throughout New Orleans and Baton Rouge. These events created new revenue opportunities while giving businesses another way to reach customers outside of traditional advertising.
Experience You Can Count On
In 2015, Pat completed his degree in Interdisciplinary Studies at the University of New Orleans, fulfilling a longtime goal while already decades into his media career. A lifelong New Orleanian and avid LSU and Saints fan, he has remained active in the community through organizations including the New Orleans Wine & Food Experience and Friends of City Park. Today, he brings decades of sales, media, event, and leadership experience to his work, along with a strong understanding of the New Orleans market and the relationships that keep local business moving.
